Over the months, we’ve seen various leaks pointing to Apple’s rumored ultra-thin iPhone. Now, a new image has surfaced online — thanks to Majin Bu — giving us another fresh look at the iPhone 17 Air, which closely resembles previous leaks. Apart from showcasing the rear and side design, the leakster shared no further information about the device.
However, a recent find by MacWorld in the second beta of iOS 26 reveals a new wallpaper with a resolution of 1260 x 2736. At first, this might seem trivial, but when you compare it with last year’s report by prominent analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, it gets interesting. Kuo claimed that the iPhone 17 Air would feature a screen resolution of approximately 1260 x 2740. No existing iPhone model comes close to this resolution, strongly hinting that the iPhone 17 Air could indeed sport a 6.6-inch display.
Other than design, a single rear camera bar, and display size, there are other rumored details about the iPhone 17 Air we know so far. It is expected to feature:
- A19 chip
- 12GB RAM
- Single-lens 48MP rear camera
- Apple’s in-house C1 5G modem
- Apple’s custom-designed Wi-Fi 7 chip
- MagSafe charging support
- Camera Control button
- Action Button
These are still unconfirmed leaks and rumors, so it’s best to take them with a grain of salt. We’re still months away from Apple’s official iPhone event — typically held in September — so until then, we’ll have to wait for things to become clearer.
